Also known as "Queen of The Night" in that they bloom only at night. One cutting or leaf in garden soil will give you a nice-sized ugly plant. Worth the wait until the beautiful buds open at night. Check it out on the internet.
Tropical plant can be placed outside in summer; must come in when temp gets to 60 degrees or lower. I have cut it back a lot in order to put it at a window with light.
