What is MMIP?

MMIP is a high-risk insurance pool that runs collectively by the insurance industry under the orders from the regulators. It provides motor insurance to vehicle owners with difficulty to obtain motor insurance from normal commercial insurance market.

The pool is managed by MMIP Services Sdn Bhd (MSSB), a subsidiary of MNRB Holdings Bhd (MNRB).

The documents required for MMIP are as follows:

A) Required Documents:

1.
The Original Policy or Renewal Notice of the previous insurance.

2.
The original copy of the Vehicle Registration Card (both sides)

3.
A copy of the Owner's NRIC (both sides).

4.
A fully completed Proposal Form.

5.
Additional Documents:

i)
For Trade Plate:
a) The original copy of the trade plate disc.

ii) For Commercial Vehicle:
a) A copy of the permit (if any).
b) A copy of the vehicle inspection report (from Puspakom).

iii) For Company Owned Vehicle:
a) The Company's rubber-stamps.

iv) For Private Cars or Motorcycles above 10 Years:

v)
For Insured above 65 Years Old:
a) The original copy of the insured's medical report.

B) Payment:

1.
You can either pay by:

i)
Cash : Payment can be made at counter; or

ii) Cheque : Payment can be made at counter (Note: Please prepare a cheque payable to Uni.Asia General Insurance Berhad, A/C No : 514299125590)

Important Notice:
• Uni.Asia General Insurance Bhd is only a servicing insurer/agent of MMIP.
• The MMIP service is available at 25 of the Uni.Asia General branches, i.e. KL Main, Klang, Seremban, Ipoh, Taiping, Sitiawan, Teluk Intan, Penang, Butterworth, Sungai Petani, Alor Setar, Muar, Melaka, Batu Pahat, Johor Bahru, Kuantan, Kuala Terengganu, Kota Bharu, Sandakan, Tawau, Kota Kinabalu, Miri, Kuching, Wangsa Maju and Taman Tun Dr Ismail. Services are also available at 10 of the UAG-Puspakom branches, i.e. Wangsa Maju, Cheras, Bukit Maluri, Padang Jawa, Alor Gajah, Johor Bahru, Gopeng, Mak Mandin, Alor Setar and Kota Kinabalu.

Ok jugak masing2 bagi "maklumat" insurance mana yg boleh bagi paling murah ..ya la kereta lama saya percaya ramai diantara kita terpaksa beli insurance pun semata2 kerana terpaksa sebab nak hidupkan cukai jalan sahaja.. P.s tu la dulu2 boleh jer insurancekan serendah RM5k minima ..pas tu RM6k minima ..pas tu RM8k minima pas tu RM10k minima pulak tapi yg terkini ni RM12k la pulak minimanya ..insurance Etiqa ..secara logik pun dah memang tak logik tak kan la kereta makin lama @ buruk semakin mahal nak Kena insurancekan.. So Kalau sesiapa yg ada list harga insurance mana yg paling murah lagi baik sebagai panduan Dan pedoman utk kita rakyat marhain ni ..

Insurans mane tu cover 10K dgn bayaran rm235?

Saya buat ngan etiqa, minimum cover 8K + tolak NCD 55% = RM27X.00. Tak termasuk rtax. Ape yg dia cover x pasti sebab x baca pun policy dia.hehee... kete lama loading charge tinggi lah. Kete saya satria tahun 2000.

baru renew kete satria thn 96..kene rm280 tak masuk rodtax..insuran allianz cover 10k paling rendah hanya bole claim kehilangan dan total lost jer.eksiden tak cover...ade plak mcm tu kan..ape nak buat nak murah.

Rupa2nya masih ada insurance kereta yg "murah" tapi "third party" insurance jer lah ..depa duk panggil insurance kerajaan ..kira lebih kurang 1/3 dari insurance "1st party yg dipaksa" ..dapat tau tu kerana "dipaksa" ambik insurance semata2 nak hidupkan roadtax jer ..kereta wira 1.3 tahun 1997 "dipaksa" supaya diinsurancekan sebanyak RM12k ..tu la paling minima tak boleh Dah kurang dari tu ..gilerrrr ka apa ..pada hal klu ikut harga market pun kereta tu mungkin bernilai RM6k sahaja ..katakan lah kereta tu "total lost" ada kah mungkin insurance akan cover sebanyak yg di insurancekan ..tentu sekali tidak kan ..bila bab nak tuntut balik soheh depa mati2an akan ikut harga market ..so apa kejadahnya dipaksa supaya diinsurankan paling minima RM12k ..nanti klu PR dapat ambik alih PUTRAJAYA isu ni pun Kena semak balik ..duk asyik nak kaya kan kroni jer ..iskkk politik lagi ..muahahahaha
