Since we have had a few incidents these past weeks of members OFFERing items on FREEcycle (please note the emphasis on FREE), then asking for money for the item when members respond, or answering a members WANTed posting with an offer to sell them that item, we are taking the time to remind all pending members that FREECYCLE MEANS FREE
The whole premise of FREEcycle is that all items are FREE. NO STRINGS attached. We are not a mini Craigslist. We are an environmental recycling group whose mission is to keep durable items out of the landfills and NO MONEY or any other type of monetary gain is to be made from any item on this group.
